About UOR
Where did UOR come from?
This project was born in Vancouver, Canada, July of 2025, when the intention to curate thrifted bundles for close friends Christmas presents turned into an excessive collection of second-hand clothes and an unruly personal wardrobe.
As a female in her mid 20s, juggling hormones, spirituality and a newly diagnosed ADHD brain, living alone in a new country, I was feeling the frustration of having so much stagnant energy and no where to direct it creatively. (Meet The Founder)
UOR Studio was born from this frustration alongside a pursuit to balance my interests, ideas and values. UOR Studio is home to all these things, a symbolic, unifiying structure, a roof, over my endless creativity.
As of our May 2026 launch, UOR Studio is home to The Wardrobe, The Dining Table and The Study.
About The Wardrobe
The Wardrobe is where preloved pieces find new life. It acts as an extensions of my personal wardrobe and exists to make more widely accessible, all the unique pieces I have hand picked and conciously curated. Think 'Online Ops Shop'. At UOR part of our mission is to support circular fashion, extend the lifecycle of unique, quality pieces already in circulation, and redistribute these garments to those who will truly love and cherish them.
Through thrifting I have been able to create a wardrobe where I can try it all, styles, sizes, colours, vibes, trends, whatever peaks my interest. Friends, Family and even strangers have showed interest and amazement in my ability to find quality pieces and brand names amongst the abudance of poorly made fast fashion that circulates through many of second hand stores (as a result of micro trends and over consumption). People around me voiced their disinterest in the process of thrifitng, and their lack of time to commit to the hunt. So, naturally I began to curate collections of second hand pieces for those around me as an extension of my own personal op shopping trips.
The Wardrobe wishes to share with you some of the best of Melbourne's local second hand market. As we continue to grow we hope to develop a greater understanding of you and your sourcing needs, eventually expanding our range of styles, sizes and identities to support the UOR Community.
About The Dining Table
The Dining Table is where meals and moments meet. A space where culinary creatively and experimentation can live and be shared with others through recipes and reviews.
As a young girl I could always be found cooking up something, whether that be a potion in my grandparents garden or an even bigger mess in the kitchen. In September of 2024 I was met with an unexpected opportunity to work in a professional kitchen, with no formal culinary experience, but an undeniable passion for food, a strong worth ethic and the unconditional support from my Head Chef and Mentor, Brad.
The Dinning Table encourages you to pull up a chair and, along side me, explore new flavours, endless combinations and various approaches to cooking. Learn the history behind food and how food, in its raw form, is a source of life itself.
About The Study
The Study is where thoughts and theories are explored. It acts as an extensions of my personal journal and the many philisophical conversation I force my inner circle to endure. A space where taboo topics and unconventional ideas can be discussed just for the sake of it.
The Study exists to encourage expansive thinking, not to draw any clear conclusions, promote specific belief systems/approaches to life, but rather to push on the boundaries of conventional thinking, to promprt you to consider prespectives beyond your current world views, purely to expand your point of view. Think 'devils addvocate', challenging ideas just for the sake of discussion and deep thinking.
The Study will always encourage you to question why you hold certain world views/ It will never ecourage you to change them either, but rather to get curious about if there are ideas/concepts/theories/point of view that maybe fall outside the scope of your personal reality but potentially still within the realm of possibility.
